Importing Documents From Messages

Simplify document management by emailing attachments directly into your Eleplan’s document vault! This feature enables users to send emails with attachments to a designated Eleplan-level email address, automatically uploading the files into the vault. By utilizing permissions, you maintain control over who can contribute to your document vault.

Key Points:

- Emailing attachments ensures they are uploaded seamlessly into the document vault, reducing manual work and streamlining document organization.
- The permissions system gives you full control over who can contribute to your Eleplan’s document vault, ensuring privacy and efficiency.
- Every document uploaded through this method is automatically parsed and becomes usable within the Eleplan’s Knowledge Base, empowering you to retrieve insights from your documents quickly.

Permission Options:

Public: Allows anyone from any email address to upload attachments into the document vault.
Private: Restricts this capability to the Eleplan owner and their account-bound email address.
Administrators: Limits uploads to users and Members with admin permissions and their email addresses.
Members: Grants upload access to any Member associated with the Eleplan and their email addresses.

Uploading Documents Via Messages:

To upload a document via a message, follow these steps:

Navigate to your Messages tab within the Eleplan you want to upload documents to.
In the Messages tab, you’ll find a permissions system designed to control who can email attachments to be uploaded into the document vault. Choose the permission level that suits your security and collaboration needs.
Once permissions are configured, send an email with attachments to the Eleplan-level email address provided.
The system will automatically upload the attachments into the document vault.
