Create & Manage Members

At Eleplan, we aim to provide a seamless and efficient experience for our users. To ensure clarity in your account management, it's crucial to distinguish between Members and Contacts on the Eleplan platform.

Members

Members are individuals who have been granted specific permissions to access the Eleplan platform. These permissions enable them to navigate the platform, view content, and, if granted, edit Eleplan details. Members actively utilize the features and benefits of Eleplan according to their assigned access level.

Key Points:

- Members have access to the platform with defined permissions.
- Their level of access may include the ability to edit Eleplan details based on permissions granted.
- We recommend setting permissions as soon as you create a Member's profile, but you can customize and change permissions for Members at any time through their Profile.
- You have a limited number of Members based on your subscription. Members should be limited to those people who need access to edit and share the Eleplan.

Contacts

Contacts are individuals added to Eleplan for the convenience of its Members. Unlike Members, Contacts are not granted access to the platform and do not possess permissions to edit Eleplan details. Instead, they serve as a centralized repository for key contacts associated with your Eleplan. Learn more about contacts.

Adding Members:

To add a Member, follow these steps:

Navigate to your People tab in your Assets drop-down menu.
Under the Members tab click Add Member.
Enter the relevant details.
Selecting a Member's Role will apply suggested permissions to that Member.
Specify their access level based on the permissions you wish to grant.
Click Create.

By understanding the distinction between Members and Contacts and following the steps outlined above, you can effectively manage your Eleplan account and optimize the platform for your team's collaboration. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.
